Athletics
A truly physical education.
Our athletics program focuses on achievement, individually and as part of a team. Whether the goal our student athletes are trying to reach is a personal best or a defensive stop in a big game, they have dedicated coaches and fans behind them all the way—and the whole world ahead of them. Waynflete regularly competes for regional and state championships and sends a significant number of student athletes to college teams.
Students explore movement in Early Childhood, gross motor skills in Lower School, mastering the rules and techniques of team sports in Middle School, and team- and skill-building through competitive play in Upper School. We teach our Waynflete Flyers how to win—and we love to watch them fly.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
The Athlete of the Week for the week of January 23 is Jules Kirby of JV boys basketball.
Jules made five out of seven free throws in the final minute to secure a 51–48 victory against Traip Academy. He also had two steals in the final thirty seconds!
